Inside Out continues to bring audiences the latest and most exciting queer cinema experiences! We are thrilled to announce that in partnership with HBO Canada, we will present the Canadian Premiere screening of Looking: The Movie this Tuesday, June 28 at 6:30PM at AGO Jackman Hall.

Joining us for this special exclusive fundraising screening will be Looking cast members Murray Bartlett (Dom) and Frankie J. Alvarez (Agustín) who will join Inside Out’s Director of Programming on stage for an extended post-screening In Conversation segment.

Following the screening, Inside Out will host a private VIP Meet and Greet Cocktail Reception with Bartlett and Alvarez at Frank in the AGO from 8:30PM to 10:30PM.

The television series Looking, which debuted on HBO in January 2014, was not only heralded as “a rarity in television … an affirming, sexy, cathartic show" (Vanity Fair) but also as a "stealth breakthrough" (The New Yorker) and "one of the sweetest and most romantic shows on television" (Huffington Post). Looking: The Movie wraps up the series' two-season run.

After living in Denver for nearly a year, Patrick returns to San Francisco for the first time to celebrate the wedding of old friends. In the process, he must face the unresolved relationships he left behind and make difficult choices about what’s truly important to him.

Directed by Festival favourite Andrew Haigh ("Weekend", "45 Years"), Looking: The Movie stars Jonathan Groff (Tony Award nominee for “Hamilton,” HBO’s “The Normal Heart”), Frankie J. Alvarez (“Smash”) and Murray Bartlett (“August”).
